Welcome to the Kawartha Squash League
Squash Ontario COVID-19 updates.
Please play at a level to suit your squash ability.
All Captains & club Pros should match players in the appropriate division in line with the players abilities. Players playing at a division level lower than their squash playing ability results in one sided matches, and is of no benefit to either player. Furthermore, this does not reflect the true spirit of competitive squash in the KSL.
To all Clubs & Captains ...... the DUNLOP double yellow dot ball is the official ball of the Kawartha Squash League & must be used in all league matches.

PLAYOFF FORMATS

The playoff format for a given Division depends on the number of Leagues in that Division

DIVISION WITH 1 LEAGUE OF 4-5 TEAMS

Top 4 teams qualify
SEMI FINALS
1 v 4
2 v 3

DIVISION WITH 1 LEAGUE OF 6-10 TEAMS (Div 1,2,3,Masters)

Top 6 teams qualify:
QUARTER FINALS
1. Team 1 gets Bye
2. 4 v 5
3. 3 v 6
4. Team 2 gets Bye
SEMI FINALS
Team 1 v Winner quarterfinal 2
Team 2 v Winner quarterfinal 3

DIVISION WITH 1 LEAGUE OF 6-10 TEAMS (Division 4)

Top 8 teams qualify:
QUARTER FINALS
1. 1 v 8
2. 4 v 5
3. 3 v 6
4. 2 v 7

DIVISION OF 2 LEAGUES OF 6 OR LESS TEAMS

Top 3 teams in each league qualify. League winners will be seeded 1 & 2 in order of their final points standing (including byes). Similarly 2ND & 3rd place qualifiers will be seeded 1 & 2.

QUARTER FINALS
1. Team 1 (#1 Seed) Bye
2. Team 2 (#2 Seed) v. Team 3 (#1 Seed)
3. Team 2 (#1 Seed) v. Team 3 (#2 Seed)
4. Team 1 (#2 Seed) Bye
SEMI FINALS
Team 1 (#1 Seed) v. Winner quarter final 2 Team 1 (#2 Seed) v. Winner quarter final 3

DIVISION WITH 2 LEAGUES

Top 4 teams in each league qualify. League winners will be seeded 1 & 2 in order of their final points standing (including byes). Similarly 2ND, 3RD & 4TH place qualifiers will be seeded 1 & 2.

QUARTER FINALS
1. Team 1 (#1 Seed) v. Team 4 (#2 Seed)
2. Team 1 (#2 Seed) v. Team 4 (#1 Seed)
3. Team 2 (#1 Seed) v. Team 3 (#2 Seed)
4. Team 2 (#2 Seed) v. Team 3 (#1 Seed)
SEMI FINALS
Winner 1 V Winner 4
Winner 2 V Winner 3

Top 2 teams in each league plus 2 third place wild card teams qualify. League winners will be seeded 1, 2 & 3 in order of their final points standing (including byes). Similarly 2ND place qualifiers will be seeded 1, 2 & 3 and the two third place wild card teams will be seeded 1 & 2.

QUARTER FINALS
1. Team 1 (#1 seed) v wild place (#2 seed)
2. Team 1 (#2 seed) v wild place (#1 seed)
3. Team 1 (#3 seed) v Team 2 (#3 seed)
4. Team 2 (#1 seed) v Team 2 (#2 seed)
SEMI FINALS
Winner 1 V Winner 4
Winner 2 V Winner 3
